IV English Immersion Course - 26th November 2011

“Tell me and I'll forget; show me and I may remember; involve me and I'll understand.”

This Chinese proverb reflects learning as its best. It comprises most all modes of learning (hearing, listening, seeing etc.) and sums them up with experiential learning. When you get involved in experiential learning processes -- which would include all of the senses possible: hearing, seeing, feeling, touching, smelling, tasting etc --, you are in the direction of profoundly deep learning and memory improvement, and long-term retention.

The good classes itself try to expose students to the English language as better as it is possible. But, even though we try hard, it is often difficult to offer real and total level of immersion in the language. Students may have a hard time developing fluent listening and speaking skills. The answer to this is complete language immersion like this one.

This way, the Chinese proverb also best describes the objective of this course. That is why we are offering you this new English Immersion Course, which is a great opportunity to use what you already know in English, improve it and learn more, using real conversation through interaction with other students and with the teacher. All in all, this is a grand favorable occasion to use your English naturally and automatically.

AIMED AT:
The program is suitable for those who, even though still making mistakes, already have some knowledge of English, can understand and make them understood and are able to communicate, express their thoughts and feelings in English.

OBJECTIVE OF THE COURSE:
Our program will promote experiential learning in a motivational, fun and engaging environment. A day speaking and interacting only in English will raise awareness of what you are capable of, you will be aware of your abilities, you will be able to apply your knowledge and improve your enjoyment in speaking English. At the end of the course you will have acquired much more confidence to communicate better in English, you will have learned how to learn and improve your skills even more.

"We are what we repeatedly do. Excellence, therefore, is not an act but a habit." (Aristotle)

ENGLISH IMMERSION COURSE

Immersion Course – A Day in English

“What we have to learn to do, we learn by doing.”

Learning and not practicing what you have been learning is very similar to reading a book without opening it. A lot of people are excellent English readers, but not great English speakers, because we don’t have many opportunities to use casual conversational English in our country. That is why we have to make these opportunities ourselves.

English Immersion Course is a great chance for you to use what you already know in English, learn more and improve it, using real conversation through interaction with other students and with us teachers. This is an event where you can use your English naturally, spontaneously and automatically.

AIMED AT:
The program is aimed at students that already have good knowledge of English – who, even though still making mistakes, can understand and make them understood and are able to communicate, express their thoughts and feelings in English.

OBJECTIVE OF THE COURSE:
We provide effective English Immersion. Our program provides essential language skills and practices in a fun and engaging environment to improve your English. At the end of the course you will have acquired much more confidence to communicate better in English. The beauty of the language training is that it lifts you out of a fog: you start to view the English language as a series of natural English sounds instead of a series of strange "foreign" sounds. This kind of progress is permanent.

“Knowing is not enough; we must apply.
Willing is not enough; we must do.”
